Farrow Built is seeking a skilled production focused Roofer to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, and is looking to grow with a company that's changing the way people view contractors. You’ll primarily be installing, repairing, and inspecting roofs—with a strong emphasis on metal roofing systems. When roofing projects aren’t active, you’ll contribute to broader construction work such as shops, barns, and garages.

Key Objectives:

• Install, repair, and inspect residential and light commercial roofs — with a focus on metal roofing

• Safely remove existing roofing materials

• Support construction projects between roofing jobs (shops, barns, garages)

• Follow all safety policies and regulations at all times

• Travel to local and out-of-town job sites across BC as required

• Maintain clear communication with lead tech and team members

• Complete projects on time and under budget to qualify for performance bonuses

• Keep tools and job site clean, organized, and safe

• Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship and professionalism on every site

Competencies:

• Minimum 2 years of roofing experience

• Proven experience in metal roofing systems is highly preferred

• Fall Arrest certification (mandatory)

• Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and safety procedures

• Comfortable working at heights and in various outdoor conditions

• Proficient with roofing tools and equipment

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required

• Ability to contribute to construction projects (framing, siding, etc.)

• Ownership of hand tools required; all other tools and safety gear provided

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Committed to growth, improvement, and quality results

Education & Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in roofing

• Certified in Fall Arrest

• Experience with metal, asphalt, and other roofing systems preferred

• Construction experience outside roofing is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift more than 50 pounds

• Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops

• Must wear fall protection at all times — no exceptions (zero-tolerance policy)

• Must provide own transportation to and from job sites

• Must provide own hand tools; fall arrest equipment provided (personal gear must pass inspection)
