A Stunning Riding Arena Transformation

You wouldn’t believe the shape this riding arena was in when we got to it. A 76' x 240' structure with rotting posts and open sides that let in way too much wind. It was still standing, but it wasn’t going to last much longer.

So, what did we do?

Repairing riding arena process

We replaced almost all the posts and put them on a TechnoMetal screw pile foundation, giving this arena another 50-100 years of life. Then we closed it in, using:

  • 5 feet of metal at the base

  • 6 feet of smoked polycarbonate (lets in light without overheating)

  • More metal above

The result? A completely transformed building that’s stronger, more usable in all seasons, and stunning to look at—for less than half of what a new arena would have cost.
