Quick update from the Dyck project we’re building up in Mara, just above Mara Lake in the Shuswap.
The new shop is coming along really well. The timing on this one worked out perfectly:
Metal arrived for a serious roofing job we’re doing in Vernon
At the same time, the electricians needed access to run wiring in the Dyck shop
So while the electricians are inside pulling wire and getting everything tied in, our crew is all-in on the roofing project in Vernon.

Next week, as we wrap up the roofing, the electricians will be finishing up their part. Then we’ll head back to Mara to:
Put the exterior cladding on
Insulate the building
Finish the floor slabs
Build the mezzanine
Line the interior with bright white metal liner for a clean, bright workspace
It’s a tight project but a serious shop, and the timing between trades has lined up exactly right.

If you’ve been thinking about putting up a shop, barn, garage, or getting roofing done on an existing building, now is a good time to talk.
And you don’t always have to build new. Repairing or upgrading an older structure can often be the most economical path.
Give us a call and tell us what you’re considering.
