Running out of space? Whether you need more storage or extra room for equipment, there are cost-effective ways to expand your existing building without breaking the bank.

Here are three great options to consider:
1. Add a Lean-To
A lean-to is a simple and effective way to expand your building’s storage capacity. We recently doubled the storage space for a client in Salmon Arm by adding a lean-to to the side of their building. Not only did it double their covered space, but it cost significantly less than building an entirely new structure of the same size.
2. Extend the Building
Need a bigger footprint? Adding onto the end of your building is often easier and more affordable than starting from scratch. By extending, you only need to construct one or two walls instead of four. In many cases, we can even move the existing end wall to the new edge, saving on materials and labor.
3. Raise the Roof
If height is the issue, we can lift your roof to give you more vertical space. For example, we can take an 8-foot ceiling and raise it to 16 feet. This is a great solution for equipment storage or creating a more versatile workspace.
Each of these options is tailored to maximize your current investment and save costs compared to new construction.
