They almost didn’t touch it.
The cabin at Niskonlith Lake had stood the test of time. Built by our customer’s father decades ago, it was one of those places with memories soaked into the walls, quiet summers, loud card games, kids catching frogs off the dock.

And the roof? Original. Cedar shakes, weathered and cracked but still holding strong. No leaks. Yet.
But not everything ages like a fine wine, especially not cedar in fire country.
About 10 years ago, a wildfire tore through their area. It missed the cabin by a hair but burned down the one next door. Ever since, that close call sat in the back of their minds like a warning shot. With fire seasons getting worse and the shakes showing their age, it was finally time. They called us.

We’re up there now, carefully stripping off that old cedar roof, like peeling back history, and replacing it with a brand-new metal roof. Not only does it look clean and sharp, it’s far more fire-resistant. They’re not just upgrading their roof, they’re protecting their family’s legacy for the next generation.
Because this place matters.
If you’ve got an old cedar or shingle roof on your cabin or outbuilding, don’t wait for the first spark. Let’s get ahead of it and create a fireproof roof like these folks did.
Hit reply or give us a call. Let’s put a metal lid on it before fire season does.
