He waited 20 years to start building — don’t make the same mistake

We had an incredible time at the Timberstar event on October 4th — great people, great conversations, and a few folks taking their first real step toward their dream shop or garage.
Right at the beginning of the event, a gentleman stopped by our booth. He’d been thinking about building a new shop for years — decades, actually. We chatted for a bit, went through some design options, and I showed him our current pricing. Like a lot of folks, he was a little surprised by how much costs have gone up.

He liked what he saw, but he said he’d think about it. He started walking away.
Then — not even five minutes later — he came back.
He looked me in the eye and said, “You know what? I’ve been procrastinating for 20 years. I’ve got to get something started.”
Twenty years.
Imagine how much further ahead he’d be if he’d started back then. Prices were lower, materials were cheaper, and that dream shop would’ve been serving him all this time.
Procrastination never leads to a better outcome.

If you’ve been putting off building your shop, garage, or barn, maybe it’s time to ask yourself: Why?
Usually, procrastination comes from one of two things — fear, or not having all the information. And that’s where we come in.
