Metal Re-roof on an Old Building in Vernon

This fall, we had finally finished putting on a new metal roof on a residency in Vernon. The roof was extremely steep, far steeper than anything we'd worked on in a while. It took a lot more time and a lot more effort than we originally expected. And before we even got started, we hit a major snag: both of our metal suppliers had delays getting the roofing metal in. Odd situation—two different suppliers, same holdup. Huge pain.
But once the material finally showed up, our crew got up there and got to work.

To make things even more interesting, we had discovered up to eight layers of old roofing in some sections. That added a massive amount of extra teardown time.
Even with all that, we pushed through and got it done.
And here’s the part our customers appreciate most: because we price our projects up front and stand behind that price, none of these surprises cost our customer even a dollar more.
Did it cut into our profits? Absolutely.
But that’s part of the deal—we commit to a number, we honor it, and we learn from every project. The next time we see a roof this steep (and this crazy), we’ll price it the way it deserves.
