Why “Cheap” Might Just Be the Most Expensive Mistake You Can Make

Not long ago, I had a couple come into our office. They’d just paid $5,000 for a design package—a serious investment by any standard. This wasn’t just any garage—they’re getting a highly customized attached garage with features that are truly one-of-a-kind.
During the meeting, they mentioned something that hit me square in the gut: They already had a guy.
Their regular carpenter—someone who’s done all kinds of work around their property—offered to build their garage too. Probably would’ve saved them thousands. So naturally, I asked the million-dollar question…
“Why didn’t you just go with him?”
Their answer is the very reason I’m writing you today:

“He doesn’t make enough money to come back if there’s a problem.”
Let that sink in.
They didn’t choose us because we were the cheapest—far from it. They chose us because we’ll be here tomorrow, next year, and five years from now. If something goes wrong, they know who to call… and they know we’ll answer.
That’s the difference between a project and a partnership.
See, when you’re building something that’s supposed to last—something that adds value to your home, your life, and your peace of mind—you can’t afford shortcuts.
The bitter taste of poor quality lingers far longer than the sweet relief of a “cheap” price.
If you’re planning something special and want to work with people who will still be in business to back up their work, give us a call. We might not be the lowest bid—but we are the safest investment.
